***

I’m waiting for my lovely
Where we first met, in the park
Sleepy sun is going slowly
I can feel the steps of dark

She comes, with her open arms,
And like rain drop, falls her kiss
We both look as two white swans
In this lake, of fallen leaves

What an evening, purple-red
Autumn gold is all around
Cloudy hair at my lovely’s head
Like autumn leaves in gold en brown

Yellow bird, the moon on trees
Looks like, feels a bit jealous
When I bow down, on my knees
Ask my lovely: Be my spouse.

She replies, whispering softly
Yes! I want to be your spouse
Shiny stars, eyes of my lovely
As the trees in darkness snooze
